Ivan Levi Montgomery

Biography:

Master Sergeant Ivan Levi Montgomery was living in Minot, ND when he entered the service and was a veteran of World War II. In Korea he was a member of Headquarters Company, 522nd Engineer Base Depot, US Army.

On November 20, 1951, he was struck by a train in a depot near Pusan, South Korea.

He was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal the Korean War Service Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.

Ward Orville Neville

Biography:

Neville's body was returned by the Chinese Communist government in October 1955, leading to the conclusion that Neville was taken prisoner and survived long enough to reach the northern reach of North Korea, where the Chinese later were in charge of the prison camps.
