Served in Company B, 1st Battalion, 163rd Depot Brigade, to April 20, 1918; Company C, 139th Infantry, to death. Grade: Corporal, Aug. 4, 1918. Overseas from May 3, 1918, to death. Engagements: Offensive: Meuse-Argonne. Defensive Sectors: Grange-le-Comte (Lorraine); Gerardmer (Alsace).

Knute Jorgenson

Served in 23rd Company, 6th Battalion, 166th Depot Brigade, to June 18, 1918; Company K, 158th Infantry, to Sept. 10, 1918; Company F, 128th Infantry, to death. Overseas from Aug. 11, 1918, to death. **The Official Roster of North Dakota Soldiers, Sailors and Marines list the name as Knut Jorgenson.
