Technician Fifth Grade Lynch was killed in action on February 25, 1945, in Germany and is buried in Grave 7880, Block 3, Section C, Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

He entered the United States Army at Fort Snelling, Minnesota on March 29, 1942, and served in the European African Middle Eastern Theater. First Sergeant Lybeck was killed in action on January 11, 1945, in Luxembourg, Germany and is buried in Grave 391- N, Section B-1, Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
