Donald H. Eisner
Biography:
Pfc Donald Eisner, 28, was killed in an Army air transport near Dale, Ore., October 19, the war department has notified his wife. The plane malfunctioned and Don bailed out. Ben Eisner said Don was killed when his parachute tangled in a tree. He was attached to Marine Barracks - Bremerton, Kitsap, Washington. Don was wounded in action on Iwo Jima. Eisner was recently home on convalescent leave. He had been hospitalized at the San Diego naval hospital, and was en route to Bremerton, Wash. for discharge when the crash occurred.

John H. Einarson
Biography:
John Herbert Einarson was born in Milton, Pembina County, North Dakota on February 1, 1924, to Gimur August Einarson and Kristine Elizabeth Bergmann. He entered The United States Army at Fort Snelling, Minneapolis, Minnesota on December 16, 1943, and served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater.; Private First Class Einarson was killed in action on February 4, 1945, in Luzon, Philippines. He is buried in Plot 106, SE Section at Gardar Cemetery, Gardar, Pembina County, North Dakota.

James M. Egbert
Biography:
James Marion Egbert was born in Dunseith, Ramsey County, North Dakota on December 8, 1919, to Adrian Grover Egbert and Ethel M Burcham. He entered the United States Army at Fort Snelling, Minneapolis, Minnesota on June 27, 1944, and served in the European African Middle Eastern Theater. He married Eleanor Amanda Halstenson Egbert. Private First Class Egbert was killed in action on May 2, 1945, in Germany and is buried Elk Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery, McCanna, Grand Forks County, North Dakota.
