As a Custodian you will perform custodial services for all assigned areas at the Regional Training Institute located on the Camp Grafton Training Center in Devils Lake, ND. Duties include providing consistent custodial services while adhering to safety practices and procedures. The following is a summary of the job responsibilities; this is not an all-inclusive list.The position of the Custodian is to assist the Custodial Supervisor in maintaining and restocking inventory supplies. You will perform cleaning of restrooms, hallways, classrooms, sweep, mop, scrub floors and other surfaces, vacuum and clean carpets and entrance mats, strip, seal and wax floors, wash windows etc.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and may be required to work some weekends or additional hours, if needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Successful completion of the interview process, reference checks and background investigation. Preference will be given to individuals with custodial experience.

The Systems Mechanic performs installation, maintenance and repair of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and HVAC/R equipment for the Building and Grounds department at the Fargo Air National Guard in Fargo, ND. The following is a summary of the job responsibilities; this is not an all-inclusive list.The position of the Systems Mechanic is to perform maintenance and service on various HVAC equipment, repair and install ductwork, use common hand tools and specialized tools, operate and maintain ground support equipment, installation and repair work using construction drawings, specifications and shop drawings. Ability to diagnose problems and provide corrective recommendations and estimate costs.

Minimum Qualifications

Three years of work experience in the maintenance and repair of heating plant equipment, water treatment program, heating and ventilation equipment and/or air conditioning systems. College coursework in a field related to the position responsibilities may substitute for the work experience on a year-for-year basis. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, bend and kneel, and work in confined spaces. Successful completion of the interview process, reference checks and background investigation.

The Housekeeper performs housekeeping duties for the Lodging department at Camp Grafton Training Center in Devils Lake, ND. Duties include providing consistent housekeeping services for a chargeable lodging/housing unit while adhering to safety practices and processes. The following is a summary of the job responsibilities; this is not an all-inclusive list. The position of the Housekeeper is to perform various cleaning for guest and common areas; maintain and restock inventory supplies across the camp locations. The Housekeeper will perform a deep cleaning which may include clean and polish furniture, fixtures and other furnishings, move furniture, dusting, shampoo carpets, wash windows, walls, ceilings, woodwork, etc. The Housekeeper will provide check for open windows, maintain key access controls, door security checks and may participate in the training of temporary housekeepers.

Minimum Qualifications

Valid driver's license is required; flexibility to work weekends as needed. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Preference will be given to applicants with one year of custodial or facility maintenance experience. Successful completion of the interview process, reference checks and background investigation.

Emergency Dispatcher (Communications Specialist) provides 24-hour voice radio communications and 1-800 emergency services for the state of North Dakota, and 911 responses for designated areas within the state. Individuals will perform duties independently under supervisor and guidance. The following is a summary of the job responsibilities; this is not an all-inclusive list or a full job description. The position of the Emergency Dispatcher (Communications Specialist) is to answer incoming 911 and 1-800 state emergency incoming calls for the designated areas. This position will work with law enforcement, firefighters, and medical response teams on a daily basis.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, and a combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Preference will be given to those who have at least one year of experience in an emergency services capacity or similar industry. Basic computer experience and typing skills with a minimum of 40 words per minute. This position will require the following certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD), and National Crime Information Center (NCIC) within six months of hire . Team members must live within 30 minutes of the work location. Successful completion of the interview process, reference checks, background investigation and pre-employment drug and hearing tests.
