At the time of the crash, he was married to Betty Kilbourne Henrikson. He had two stepchildren, Ralph McBee of the Navy Air Corps and Garna Bell McBee. He was also survived by his mother, Mrs Tina Henrikson, of Seattle WA, two sisters in Seattle and two brothers in North Dakota.
