Biography:
2nd Lieutenant Bruce Buchholz was born on May 20, 1924, in Minot, North Dakota, to Edward J and Iva Buchholz. On May 26, 1942, he was a resident of Ward County, North Dakota, when he entered the US Army Minot. He was killed in action on August 18, 1944, in Kuritola, India. He is buried in plot 3, grave 240, section 7 in Rose Hill Cemetery, Minot, North Dakota.

Lawrence J. Broz
Biography:
Lawrence Joseph Broz was born February 15, 1908, at home in Roberts County, South Dakota, to Mary Broz. He lived with his mother, grandparents Jacob and Marie Broz and his Uncle Joe. Lawrence's mother Mary married John Johnson, and had eight more children, two sons and six daughters. Lawrence continued living with his grandparents. He also spent a lot of time with his Aunt Tecla Kutter and her family. After attending Lien Township District Number 2, Lawrence was employed as a truck driver, and also worked for farmers in the area.

Henry F. Brown
Biography:
Henry Franklin Brown was born in New England, Stark County, North Dakota on May 3, 1922, to Frank Matt Braun (Brown) and Mildred Lola Johnson. He entered United States Army at Fort Snelling, Minnesota on October 28 (31), 1942 and served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. Private First Class Brown was killed in action on April 19, 1944, in Finschhafen, New Guinea, and is buried in Grave 2, Row 2, Section A (535), at Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, Meade County, South Dakota. He received the Good Conduct Medal.
