Eugene C. Beaton

Biography:

Private Eugene C. Beaton was born in Lemmon, South Dakota on May 29, 1919. As a resident of Cass County, North Dakota, he entered the USMC Mpls, Minnesota on June 7 1944. He served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater and died in service on June 3, 1945 in Okinawa. He was married to Florence A. Beaton and he is burried in Plot 51, E1/2 block of 5, Holy Cross Cemetery, Fargo, North Dakota.

Ronald E. Bartley

Biography:

Born in Underwood, North Dakota on June 23, 1921. Entered the US Army in Lubbock, Texas June 25, 1941. Served the European African Middle Eastern Theater.

Flight Officer Bartley was a Co-Pilot of 8th Air Force, B-17G Flying Fortress #42-31763 nicknamed "Ten Horsepower."

John A. Barrow

Biography:

John Arthur Barrow was born in Belfield, Stark County, North Dakota on November 30, 1923, to Theolie "Theo" and Ruth Eslick Barrow. He entered the United States Navy Great Lakes, Illinois on November 17, 1942, and served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. Electrician's Mate Third Class Barrow was killed in action on April 12, 1945, in Okinawa, Japan and is buried in Plot 172, Row 1, Grave 1, Belfield Lutheran Cemetery, Belfield, Stark County, North Dakota.
