Bernard A. Anderson Jr.

Biography:

Bernard Alfred Anderson was born on the family farm in Kandiyohi Township, Burke County, North Dakota on March 25, 1928. He was the first of six children born to Bernard Alfred and Eva Esther (Mott) Anderson. He received the gift of God's saving grace through Holy Baptism on November 4, 1928 at the Nasareth Lutheran Congregation in the Vanville School House. In 1938, the family moved from Kandiyohi Township to Roseland Township and lived on "The Big Spring Place." He attended rural school until the family moved to Kenmare in the early 1940's.

Arthur O. Anderson

Biography:

Arthur Orville Anderson was born in Doyon, Ramsey County, North Dakota on December 6, 1909, to Robert and Olga Regina Johnson Anderson.  He entered the United States Army at Fort Snelling, Minneapolis, Minnesota on November 10, 1942, and served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater.  Private First Class Anderson was killed in action on May 1, 1945, in Okinawa, Japan and is buried in Block 5, Lot 44, Grave 6, Section GAR Cemetery, Devils Lake, North Dakota. 

Arthur E. Anderson

Biography:

Alvin E. Anderson

Biography:

Alvin Emil Anderson was born in Granville, McHenry County, North Dakota on September 8, 1911, to Ole Andreas and Regina Anderson. He entered the United States Army in Minot, North Dakota on April 1, 1941, and served in the European African Middle Eastern Theater. Technician Fifth Grade Anderson was killed in action on May 14, 1945, in France and is buried in Grave 14054, Block 24, Section C, Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
