Lance A. Pousette
Biography:
First Lieut. Lance A. Pousette, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Pousette of Cooperstown, has been reported missing in action over France, according to a war department message received by his parents. Lieut. Pousette was pilot of a fighter plane, a Thunderbolt P47B, a single seater, and has been in combat over Europe for about three months. He had seen action over several European countries including Germany, Holland, Belgium and France. He was a member of the Eighth AAF Fighter group and had been stationed in England, where he was assistant operations officer of his unit.

Lawrence A. Possibuon
Biography:
Laurence Alcides Possibuon was born in New Rockford, Eddy County, North Dakota on April 25, 1926, to Premo and Emma Emilla Possibuon. He entered the United States Marine Corp in Minneapolis, Minnesota on December 12, 1944. Private Possibuon died in service on June 2, 1945, at Parris Island, Beaufort County, South Carolina from typhoid fever. He is buried in Section 1, Plot 18, Grave 3, Prairie Home Cemetery, New Rockford, North Dakota.

Ray Point
Biography:
Master Sergeant Ray Point was born in Perth, ND on September 4, 1915, and was a resident of Towner County, ND when he entered the US Army in Ft Snelling, MD on April 4, 1939. During World War II he served in the European African Middle Eastern Theater and he separated from the Army at Ft MacArthur, California on September 19, 1945, as a Technical Sergeant.
He reentered the US Army on June 25, 1950, and served in Korea. While fighting the enemy in Korea he was killed in action on November 4, 1950.
He is buried in the Ft MacArthur Cemetery in San Pedro, California.
